Moxie, by Jennifer Mathieu

Hii Everyone, . A new sunday means a new review for you to enjoy :) . This weeks book is called moxie, it's story is about Viv Carter. Her school does not take care of all the sexist jokes that boys make, her school supports sexist dress codes and the hateful way footballplayers talk about others. Viv is done with it, she used to be really shy and silent but they have gone too far this time! She starts up a girl revolution and fights for her rights. Because thats what moxie girls do, they fight back! . So at first i thought this book was a bit childish, but after the first few pages it totally proved me wrong. I sure am a feminist and this book was so inspiring! It taught me all about the Riot Grrrl movement that was going on in the 90's and i found that so awsome that I wrote a paper for school about the movement. Viv is a badass girl with a badass revolution and she is a really inspiring person. But most of all i found it so amazing that her boyfriend joined in on the feminist movement since guys sometimes don't think they can be feminists too. But hey, #heforshe is a thing now ;p

This story was vibrant and awsome and u all sure should read it, allthough I think it might not be for everyone, you should defenitely give it a shot! . This book was written by the badass feminist Jennifer Mathieu who started a whole movement around this book, you should check it out on moxiegirlsfightback.com , and join the revolution!

. All the love, E
