We were liars, by E. Lockheart

Cadence sinclair eastman. A young woman, part of the rich and beautiful, but damned sinclair family. Their deepest desires, their greatest secrets, their biggest grief: it all lays on this island. This island of sand, hopes and dreams crushed to little pieces of sand. They were the liars, they were beautiful, broken, they were in love. . We were liars is the mysterious story of the sinclair family. they have been celebrating holidays on an island in martha's vineyard for decades, where the whole family comes together. Cadence, Mirren, gat and johnny are the naughty ones, they are the liars. They jump from rocks, they have sleepovers and go kanooing. They are brave and sad and they are teens. But their family is best at one thing. They are best at keeping silence. The liars aren't like the rest of them, they might even be more honest, more open. They are the outsiders and the most loved ones. But summer 15 everything changes. Things seem to be wrong, memories seem lost and so is peace in the sinclair family. As cadence gets into a tragic accident and loses memories how will she ever remember when her family is staying quiet. When it all seems strange and something seems off the only person that can help her remember is cadence herself. But some memories might be fading for a reason. They were liars, they were beautiful but broken. They were tragic and love. Which are lies? Which is truth? You decide. . I loved this book. It is defenitely one that comes with sun and sea and summer. One to read on the beach or at the pool. This book is mystery, drama and fun. I heard some amazing things about it and i can tell you it's all true. You will start to make up theories and cry and laugh. You will think the weirdest thoughts and blame people for things that did not happen. I am not that much of a mystery fan but this mixture is perfect for me. The story shows so many sides and little parts. It pulls you into the world of social privelege and wealth. To worlds where harvard is a family matter and feelings aren't showed. The liars were different and just as this book, they were outstanding. . We were liars was written by E. Lockheart and can be bought for €10.

All the love,

E
